Code Observatory

Astronomical observatory for developers.

Features

  • Telescope system (pointing at APIs, log streams, metrics, traces)
  • Constellations (microservice maps — each service is a star, connections are lines)
  • Supernovae (major outages — a star explodes)
  • Black dwarfs (deprecated services still running)
  • Comets (ephemeral lambda functions streaking through)
  • Astronomer (operator cataloging discoveries)
  • Observation log (night watch events)
  • ASCII star chart

Acceptance

  • 25+ tests
